The grizzly bear snared a new member into its fold.
Following today's 3.02% nosedive, Taiwan's major equity benchmark, the Taiwan Weighted (TWII) joined Hong Kong's HSI into the bear's lair.
Here is the Bloomberg version of the same TWII chart
The TWII's 4-month crash has coincided or has been accompanied by the surge of the USD-TWD (or collapse of the Taiwan dollar relative to the US dollar)[chart from investing.com]
Will the TWII bounce from here? Or will this highlight the TWII's next leg down?
And will the rest of Asia follow? And if yes, does this signal the advent of Asian Crisis 2.0?
